DR. KEVIN RUPPRECHT NAMED ASSISTANT EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

MOSES LAKE, WA — Moses Lake School District is pleased to announce the hiring of Dr. Kevin Rupprecht as assistant executive director of secondary teaching and learning, bringing nearly two decades of educational leadership experience, supporting educators, and improving student outcomes across Washington state.
Dr. Rupprecht joins the district from Clover Park School District, where he most recently served as assistant superintendent overseeing eight secondary schools serving approximately 5,500 students. In that role, he helped strengthen systems between schools and the district office, supported professional learning for school leaders, and focused on equitable practices that contributed to district graduation rates exceeding 92 percent.
Before becoming assistant superintendent, Dr. Rupprecht served for eight years as principal of Lt. Gen. W.H. Harrison Preparatory School, an International Baccalaureate World School. During his tenure, the school maintained graduation rates above 95 percent, expanded student opportunities through the International Baccalaureate program, and improved staff retention while fostering a culture focused on academic excellence and continuous improvement.
His leadership experience also includes serving as assistant principal at Clover Park High School, administrator of Lakewood Career Academy, and administrator at Forks High School. He began his career as a middle and high school English and history teacher.
Dr. Rupprecht earned a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Seattle Pacific University, a master’s degree in educational leadership and administration from the University of Washington, Tacoma and a bachelor’s degree in education from Pacific Lutheran University. He also holds a Washington superintendent certificate.

In his new role, Dr. Rupprecht will provide leadership for the district’s secondary teaching and learning programs, partnering with principals, teachers, and staff to strengthen instruction, support student achievement, and advance the district’s strategic priorities. He will begin serving in his new role the week of July 13.
