Communities in Schools

Communities In Schools of North Central Washington helps our students and their families address needs that go beyond the classroom.

Site coordinators identify students who need support to keep them engaged in school.

Communities in Schools site coordinators do whatever it takes to ensure that all kids—regardless of the challenges they may face—have what they need to realize their potential.

Some of the services offered by Communities in Schools include: 

• Finding assistance for food, rent, utilities, clothes, and more
• Obtaining additional academic support for students
• Connecting students and families with teachers and staff
• Working with students to improve school attendance, behavior, or academics
• Assisting with finding a counselor or a mental health professional
• Talking about student concerns at school
