Senior Spotlight

Our Teaching & Learning Department is proud to introduce a new feature in our district newsletter: Senior Spotlight. This series is designed to celebrate the accomplishments, experiences, and future plans of our graduating seniors while giving them a chance to share their story with the Moses Lake community.

Senior Spotlight offers students an opportunity to reflect on their high school journey—highlighting the classes that inspired them, the teachers who made a difference, and the moments that helped shape who they are today. Just as importantly, it invites seniors to share what lies ahead, whether that’s college, the workforce, military service, or another path toward their goals.

The feature also creates a meaningful connection between graduating seniors and the students who will follow in their footsteps. By sharing advice, encouragement, and lessons learned, our seniors can leave a small but powerful legacy for younger students who are just beginning their own journeys through our schools.

After each interview is completed, the featured student will have the opportunity to review the article before it is published on the district website and shared with the Moses Lake community.

We are proud of our seniors and the paths they are preparing to take—and Senior Spotlight is one more way we can celebrate their stories and the impact they leave behind.
