Kindergarten Registration Now Open — Join Us for Kindergarten Round-Up on May 13th!

We’re thrilled to welcome our newest learners to the Moses Lake School District!

Kindergarten registration for the 2025–26 school year is now open. Families can register online by clicking here.

Do you have a child starting kindergarten this fall? We invite you to Kindergarten Round-Up from 5:00–6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13th at all MLSD elementary schools (NOTE: Groff Elementary will hold their Kindergarten Round-Up event at Lakeview Elementary.) Registration assistance will also be available in person during the event.

What is Kindergarten Round-Up?

Kindergarten Round-Up is a special event designed to help incoming kindergarteners and their families take their first step into the school experience. During this one-hour event, you and your child will have the opportunity to:

• Visit your neighborhood elementary school

• Meet kindergarten teachers and school staff

• Participate in fun, hands-on activities

• Receive important information about registration, school routines, and what to expect this fall

Why attend?

Kindergarten Round-Up helps children feel excited, comfortable, and confident about starting school. Families gain valuable insights into daily routines, have the chance to ask questions, and begin building strong connections with school staff. Starting kindergarten on the right foot lays the foundation for a successful school year—and we’re here to support you every step of the way.

We can’t wait to meet your future kindergartener! 

Registration packets are available at your nearest elementary school and the Learning Services Center (1620 S. Pioneer Dr.). Registration is also available online.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

• Birth Certificate (All children entering kindergarten in 2025-26 must be five years old by August 31, 2025). Missing birth certificate? Order here
• Immunization Records
• Proof of Residency (Please write your student’s name on the proof of residency if you drop off your document.) Acceptable proof of residency includes formal documents with your address, such as a PUD utility bill or City water bill, current rental agreement or home insurance policy, or your most recent pay stub. Driver's licenses are not accepted.

You may upload the required documents listed above during the online registration process, OR you may drop them off at (or mail them to) the Moses Lake Learning Services Center (1620 S. Pioneer Way) secure dropbox.
