Technology Purchasing Process


 

Important Information

Any technology purchased outside of this process WILL NOT BE ACTIVATED, INSTALLED, OR SUPPORTED by the Technology Department. It will need to be returned for a refund.

Do not order technology through outside grants or donations without a Help Desk ticket and a purchase review/approval by Tech.

  • Interactive Panels (Prometheans)

The following devices require a discussion with Tech about their purpose before purchase.

  • iPads
  • Tablets
  • Printers

Please provide the following information in the Help Desk ticket.

  • A budget code
  • Specific information (Device type, hardware, software, color, function, etc.)
  • Where the technology is going (If it's not for the person submitting the ticket)
  • Additional instructions that tech may need in order to properly install/deliver the technology
