Community Open Form Scheduled to Discuss New Elementary School

Moses Lake School District will host a Community Open Forum on Monday, January 26, to share information regarding a committee recommendation for a future elementary school on the north end of Moses Lake.
For the past two years, the District’s Facitlities Advisory Committee has met regularly to review data, discuss long-term facility needs, and consider options to best serve students and the community—particularly on the north side of town. This work has included enrollment trends, facility conditions, capacity considerations, and broader district planning needs. As a result of that process, the Facility Advisory Committee has recommened locating a future elementary school on the current North Elementary site. This new school will bring together students from North Elementary and Larson Heights Elementary.
The January 26 community forum is an opportunity for families and community members to learn more about the committee’s work and recommendation and ask questions as the District continues its planning process. District leaders will provide an overview of the recommendation.
Date: Monday, January 26, 2026
Time: 6pm – 7pm
Location: Larson Heights Elementary (700 Lindberg Ln)
Community members are encouraged to attend and participate. Questions may also be submitted in advance using the question submission form linked below, which will help guide the discussion during the forum.
