Policies and Procedures
Moses Lake School District utilizes Board Docs to maintain the agenda content of all School Board meetings.
The Board of Directors sets Board Policies, imposing legal requirements on the district and defining the parameters within which district programs should operate. Policies typically undergo a public reading and comment before being adopted or revised. Significant policy changes require Board approval, as do adopting new policies and deleting policies that have become obsolete or redundant. The district administration establishes administrative procedures that do not require board approval. Procedures expected to be controversial may undergo a public comment process but are not required.
