MLSD Seeks Community Members for High School Learning Options Committee

We want your voice at the table.
Moses Lake School District is forming a High School Learning Options Committee to take a closer look at instructional opportunities across our high schools, and we’re looking for students, families, staff and community members to be part of the conversation.
The committee will begin its work by looking at:
- Alignment of the school-day structure across our high school options, including six- and seven-period schedules
- Opportunities to strengthen project-based learning across MLSD
- Equitable access to instructional opportunities for students
- Clear communication about the programs and pathways available to students
This is just the beginning. Following its initial recommendations, the committee will continue looking at high school instructional opportunities across the district and helping shape recommendations for the future.
We’re seeking representation from middle and high school students, parents and guardians, educators, administrators, counselors, paraeducators and community members.
