Student Leaders Wanted: Join the School Board as a Student Rep

Moses Lake School District is now accepting applications for student leaders to serve as non-voting Student Representatives to the MLSD Board of Directors for the 2026–2027 school year. To be eligible, applicants must be a current 8th through 11th grader within the Moses Lake School District.
Student representatives play an important role in ensuring student voice is part of district decision-making. Selected students will attend regular board meetings, share perspectives on behalf of their peers, and help strengthen communication between district leadership and students.
Eligible applicants must be entering their freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior year in fall 2026 and demonstrate strong academic standing, leadership experience, and a commitment to serving others. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of our schools while gaining valuable experience in leadership and public service.
Application Details:
- Deadline: Friday, May 8, 2026
- Submission: Turn in applications to the main office at Columbia Middle School, Endeavor Middle School, Frontier Middle School, Moses Lake High School, Vanguard Academy, CBTech, or the Digital Learning Center
- Interviews: Applicants will be contacted if selected for an interview.
