Small Works Roster
The Moses Lake School District (MLSD) is committed to maintaining safe and effective learning environments for students and staff. To assist with facility improvements, repairs, and construction projects, MLSD maintains a Small Works Roster, which allows pre-approved contractors to bid on public works projects valued at $350,000 or less.
How It Works
The Small Works Roster streamlines the bidding process for qualifying projects by enabling the district to solicit bids directly from registered contractors. This helps ensure projects are completed efficiently while meeting state and district standards.
Who Can Apply?
Licensed contractors in Washington State who meet the following requirements are encouraged to apply:
- Hold a valid contractor’s license
- Maintain bonding and insurance as required by law

Types of Projects
Contractors on the Small Works Roster may be contacted for a variety of projects, including:
- Building repairs and renovations
- Roofing, electrical, and plumbing work
